Under Pressure (band)
Under Pressure are a hardcore punk band from Winnipeg, Manitoba. They play music influenced primarily by Gauze, Motörhead, Discharge, Poison Idea, Black Flag and Black Sabbath. The band has released 4 records and gone on one full Eastern-Canadian tour, from Winnipeg to St. John's, Newfoundland.
History Under Pressure are a continuation of the band Guns, Liquor and Whores, whose guitarist left the band late in 2002. The band started practicing with a new guitarist and in early 2003 played their first show. Their sound and image had changed considerably, and they decided that a name change was appropriate.
