Upminster (constituency)The UK parliamentary constituency of Upminster is part of Greater London and the London Borough of Havering. The current MP is the Conservative Angela Watkinson. It was one of the few seats that Labour lost in the 2001 general election. The former Labour MP, Keith Darvill, will be contesting the seat again in the 2005 general election. However, it is unlikely that the current MP will be unseated as Upminster is a Conservative-leaning seat. |
