ValaciclovirValaciclovir (INN) or valacyclovir (USAN) is an antiviral drug used in the management of herpes simplex. It is a prodrug, being converted in vivo to aciclovir. It is currently marketed by GlaxoSmithKline under the trade name Valtrex.
