Venber
The Venber are an alien race in the Animorphs book series by K.A. Applegate. They are about human size, but much taller. They have skis for feet and have four arms, the lower two of which hold pole like appendages. Their heads are said to resemble that of a hammerhead shark. Venber live in very low temperature conditions, when they reach temperatures above freezing, they melt. At one time, they lived on Venbea, one of the moons of the Andalite homeworld, but they were wiped out by a race known as The Five who melted their bodies for semiconductors. The Yeerks made a crossbreed of Human and Venber for use as biological robots in a secret facility in the Arctic.
