Verdandi
Verdandi is one of the three norns in Norse Mythology. Her name means "in the making".
Oh My Goddess A variation on the mythological Verdandi is a major character in the anime/manga series Oh My Goddess created by Kosuke Fujishima called Belldandy. The name started out as Verdandi, and was transcribed into Japanese (Berudandi). When the manga came to the English world, it was semi-transcribed back instead of using the precedence. Belldandy is a Goddess First Class, Second Category, Unlimited License. She is a very pure and kind person - a role model for all the goddesses. At the same time, she is also a very strong-willed person.
