Vibrational psychology

Vibrational psychology

Vibrational psychology is a neologism for a form of transpersonal psychotherapy that uses guided meditation, intuition, and group therapy sessions:
  • to interpret dreams;
  • to analyze relationships;
  • to assess claims of fact or fiction;
  • to enable healing from disease or addiction;
  • to effect desired changes in one's life; and
  • to fulfill human potential

    Proponents claim: that power is a motivating force in human endeavour; that understanding why such problems as depression or other affective disorders manifest is a key to their treatment; that social and historical context is necessary for this understanding; that you cannot analyze and treat individuals in-isolation-from their community/culture/society; and that correct application of the technique requires extremely careful use of language (because the unconscious interprets things literally) and therefore should be performed only by trained counsellors.
