Vibrava
Vibrava, the Vibration Pokémon, resembles a Dragonfly thing in build and possesses diamond-shaped wings, Antenne, and what appear to be diamond tail flaps. Vibrava made its debut in Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire. It is unconfirmed if it can be found in Pokemon Colluseum. Vibrava is one of few pokemon that live in the desert regions of Hoenn.
Name origin
Derived from 'vibrate'. The 'ava' part may be derived from similarity to the name 'Quilava' (another Pokemon), but this is not certain (further input welcome).
Pokédex descriptions Ruby/Sapphire: "Vibrava's wings have not yet completed the process of growing. Rather than flying long distances, they are more useful for generateing ultrasonic waves from vibrating."
Strengths / weaknesses
As a Ground and Dragon Type Pokémon, Vibrava is offensively strong against Electric, Fire, Rock, and Poison types and defensively weak against Bug, Flying, and Grass types.
