Vomit Thrower
Early 90's Athens, GA punk band who challenged a then stagnant Athens music scene with impromptu, DIY shows, self-produced fanzines and frequent write-ups in local music zine Flagpole. The group regularly played shows in 91-93, with occassional gigs throughout the mid to late 90's. The band was either hated or ridiculed by locals who either took offense to the band's criticism of the Athens music scene, or believed punk-rock was long since dead (and thus irrelevant).
