W1AQ

W1AQ is the callsign of an ARRL-affiliated amateur radio club in Rumford, East Providence, Rhode Island, U.S.A. known as A.R.A.S.N.E.: the Associated Radio Amateurs of Southern New England. W1AQ./ARASNE has existed since 1926 from its clubhouse at 54 Kelley Avenue in Rumford. It operates 2 repeaters: 147.33 (CTCSS tone of 173.8cps is only required for I.R.L.P., not for regular repeater use) & 441.75Mc. (no CTCSS at present) & used to operate a packet node on 145.03Mc.. W1AQ also has ca[abilities on the following sprectra: MF: 160M, HF: 80-10M (60M operation is unknown), VHF: 2M, & UHF: 70cM.
