Wakayama Prefecture

Wakayama Prefecture (和歌山県; Wakayama-ken) is part of the Kii Peninsula in the Kinki region on Honshu island, Japan. The capital is the city of Wakayama.

Wakayama Prefecture is bordered by Osaka Prefecture, Nara Prefecture, and Mie Prefecture.
