Weevil (Veronica Mars)
Eli "Weevil" Navaro is a fictional character on the UPN television series, Veronica Mars, which debuted during the fall 2004 season. He is portrayed by Francis Capra. Weevil, as he is commonly called, leads a motorcycle gang, the PCH Bike Club. He is often asked for favors by Veronica. Weevil used to date Lilly Kane (Amanda Seyfried), unbeknowest to most people. As of episode 1.18, the only other people to know about the brief relationship are the police, Ms. James, and Veronica (Kristen Bell). There has been speculation that Logan Echolls (Jason Dohring) knows about the relationship, after seeing Weevil's tattoo of Lilly's name. According to Weevil, Lilly broke his heart when she broke off their relationship to go back to Logan. Weevil lives with his grandmother and until recently, his cousin. However, his cousin was driven into hiding when Weevil found out he was left to take the fall for his cousin's credit card fraud. Being a member of a minority group, Weevil is often suspicious of Veronica's motives, claiming that she is not a "real" outsider. Still, he often helps out with her cases, when he can. He and Logan have a tentative friendship, that is often hidden by barbed exchanges. However, Logan did what he could to get Weevil unexpelled (1x07) and searched desperately for Weevil's poker winnings that someone had stolen (1x10).
