WKDU
WKDU is a non-commercial college radio station located in Philadelphia, USA, broadcasting on 91.7 FM. It is owned and operated by the students of Drexel University, and also has Drexel alumni among its on-air staff. They are the last free-form non-commercial FM station in Philadelphia. It started as carrier current station WXDT in 1958. In the following years, it switched to AM and then finally to FM broadcasting in 1971. In 1981, their power rating was raised to 110 watts from 10 watts, and in 1996, it was further raised to 800 watts.
