WLOS-TV
WLOS-TV signed on channel 13 on September 18, 1954 serving the Asheville, North Carolina, Greenville, South Carolina, Spartanburg, South Carolina, Anderson, South Carolina and it's coverage area. Channel 13 is a ABC affiliate and it's owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group. WLOS-TV's sister station is WBSC (WB affiliate prevously known as WAIM-TV 40 a CBS/ABC affiliate, then Independent, later changed to WAXA-TV and became the original FOX affiliate until 1988 it went of the air and WHNS-TV picked up the FOX affiliation, then it became a simulcast ABC affiliate for channel 13 in the early 1990s become a Independent station called WFBC C-40 from 1995-1999, when it became a WB affiliate.
