Wonder Woman: Amazonia

Created by DC Comics for the Elseworlds range this graphic novel explores what would happen if the young Wonder Woman is taken from her home of Paradise Island by the 'evil' Steve Trevor to the British Empire and beyond!

Storyline

In another reality, Diana (Wonder Woman) is snatched away from Paradise Island by captain Steve Trevor and the Royal Marines of the 19th century British Empire. She is forced to marry the vile Trevor and becomes the star of a London show, reenacting tales of women from the Bible. She shows herself to be a great heroine, freeing oppressed women from all over the Empire and then taking on the terrible reign of King Jack (aka Jack the Ripper)!
