Wonderwall Music

Wonderwall Music

Wonderwall Music was Beatle George Harrison's first solo album, a soundtrack to Joe Massot's film Wonderwall. The album is an oddity of sorts in that it is the only non-classical solo album in the Beatles canon not to feature the Beatle it is credited to. Instead, Harrison handed over instrumentation to two alternating groups- one recorded in England in December of 1967, the other recorded in India the following January. He is listed as producer, arranger and writer.

All of the tracks were composed by Harrison, and it was the first LP release on the newly formed Apple Records, released in November of 1968, a few weeks before The Beatles. It would also be the first Apple record deleted.
