WOOHP
The World Organization of Human Protection (or WHOOP) is a secret, worldwide crime-fighting organization in the animated series Totally Spies. Founded and headed by Jerry, WOOHP uses cutting-edge technology and highly skilled agents to fight crime and diffuse humanitarian crises all over the world. Sam, Alex, and Clover are their top three teenage super-spies, frequently called in to solve the most difficult cases and fight dangerous psychos the world over. When he needs them, Jerry can "WOOHP" them to his office at the press of a button from wherever they might be. The most common means of "WOOHPing" are via vacuum tunnels that lead straight to the office, but they have also been blasted to their destination via rocket ship, teleported, picked right off the freeway via helicopter, and scooped up by a passing train. On missions, Jerry provides the spies with information, analyzes clues, and occasionally steps in to give them a hand. WOOHP is constantly developing new technologies to help the spies on their missions, and they also posess a vast intelligence network to monitor for crises. WOOHP also possesses a small army of agents, but as far as the show is concerned they mainly clean up after Sam, Alex, and Clover. In season three, Jerry added GLADIS to his office. GLADIS is a computer he designed to help him run WOOHP, but GLADIS tends to have a mind of her own. GLADIS has been met with a fair share of hostility from fans, which claim that because she now distributes the gadgets she tends to reduce Jerry to a subordinate role in WOOHP, even though he is the founder and administrator. Regardless, GLADIS is definitely a permanent fixture in season three.
The addition of GLADIS also ment new gadgets for the spies. For example, the new X-Powder replaces the old Compowder with extra functions such as the abbility to see Jerry in 3-D rather than on the screen.
