Works cited

A works cited pages lists all the links or content used during the formation of a certain work. It includes the author(s), the publisher (if from a book), the year published, and the name of article or book. It is usually found at the end of a research paper or essay and is vital to have one to give credit to whoever you borrowed information from or quotes.

Person Interviewed. Type of Interview (personal, telephone, email, etc.). Date.

Presentation

Last name of presenter, first name, middle name or initial if used. Name of audience. Location of presentation. Date of presentation.

Electronic Resources

Web Page


Title of the Site. Editor. Date and/or Version Number. Name of Sponsoring Institution. Date of Access .

Encyclopedia (CD-ROM)


"Title of article." Title of Encyclopedia.Title of program. edition. CD-ROM. Publisher: company, year.

Internet Journal or Magazine Article

Author, if available, last name first. “Title of article.” Name of magazine, joumal, newspaper, book. Volume number, if a journal. Editor(s) place of publication, and publisher if a book. Date of publication. Page(s) of article. Name of electronic subscription database, followed by Library and Library’s city and state abbreviation.

Internet Newspaper Article

Author. "Title of Article." Title of Publication Date: Page(s) or Section(s), if numbered. Date of Access .

Online Subscription Database

Author. “Publication information for print source.” Title of database or product the article is available on, Date of Access. Name of vendor or publisher (if known).

Recorded Interview

Last name of interviewee, first name, middle name or initial if used. Title or position of interviewee. Type of interview. Date of interview.

Broadcast & Multimedia Productions


"Title of Episode or Segment." Title of Program or Series. Credit (Performer, writer,
etc). Name of Network. Call Letters (if any), City of Local Station (if any).Broadcast Date.

Personal E-mail Message


Last name, First name of person who wrote the e-mail. "Title." E-mail to First name last name. day month. year.
