WPTZWPTZ is the callsign of a television station serving the Champlain Valley of Vermont and New York State. WPTZ is licensed to North Pole, New York; its transmitter is located on Lyon Mountain, New York, in the hamlet of the same name. It first signed on the air on December 8, 1954, just two and a half months after the arrival of WCAX-TV.
