Wraith Squadron
Wraith Squadron is a fictional elite X-Wing starfighter squadron in the Star Wars universe. It was founded by Wedge Antilles as a 'commandos first, starfighters second' unit. The unit was made up of men and women who had ground combat and starfighter training but had been in some sort of trouble before joining the squadron. These include such characters as Kell Tainer, a mechanic and one of Page's commandoes, who froze up at the first instance of command. Also, Garik "Face" Loran, a former child actor, performing in Imperial propaganda films, with a large scar across his face that he keeps as a reminder of what he did for the Imperial war effort. His wingmate, Ton Phanan is allergic to Bacta, and so is 60% mechanical and increasing. There is the two-metre tall "Runt", who is covered in fur and of many minds. Tyria Sarkin is a former ranger, and a novice Jedi, and by the time of the New Jedi Order, has become a Jedi Knight, and travels the universe with their son, Doran. Also, a Bothan slicer known as Grinder, who, like Falynn Sandskimmer, do not survive the final battle against the star destroyer commanded by Admiral Trigit.
