Xylazine

 

Xylazine

A drug that is used for sedation, muscle relaxation, and analgesia. As with other alpha-2 agonists, adverse effects include bradycardia, conduction distrubances, and myocardial depression. Yohimbine (Yobine) can be used to reverse xylazine effects.
