Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (Ю́жно-Сахали́нск) is a city in Sakhalin, Russia, administrative center of the Sakhalin Oblast. In Japanese, it is known as Toyohara (豊原).

The city is standing on the Susuya River. Population: 134,000 (1977). It is served by Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport
