ZanderA zander is a fish. The scientific name is Sander lucioperca (or Stizostedion lucioperca). In 2004, it was revealed [1] that some Minneapolis-St. Paul restaurants were serving Zander instead of the closely related Walleye. These restaurants are currently under investigation by the FDA. The zander fish is closly related to the pike.
