Zangoose Zangoose is a basic normal-type Pokémon that does not evolve. This cat ferret Pokémon is a long-time rival of Seviper. Name Origin "Zangoose" is obviously a derived from mongoose. However, judging by the Pokémon's red lightning bolt markings, there is a possibility it might be a play on Ziggy Stardust. Availability On Route 114 in Hoenn, with a 19% chance to encounter in Ruby.
