ZGMF-X2000 GOUF Ignited

ZGMF-X2000 GOUF Ignited

In the anime series Gundam Seed Destiny, the ZGMF-X2000 GOUF Ignited is a prototype mobile suit derived in part from the ZAKU series. The GOUF Ignited shares many cosmetic similarities with the ZAKUs, including a decorative head similar to the ZGMF-1001 ZAKU Phantom and horn-like shoulder spikes reminiscent of the ZGMF-1000 ZAKU Warrior. While it is not compatible with the ZAKU Wizard Packss, the GOUF is a high-performance unit with flight capabilities comparable to the AMF-101 DINN. It is armed with 4-barrel beam guns mounted on its forearms, along with tentacle-like electrified cable known as a "heat rod" on its right wrist. In addition, it can carry a double-bladed anti-ship sword and a shield in its hands.

The first GOUF Ignited is piloted by ace Haine Westenfluss of the elite "FAITH" detachment, and painted in the same orange color scheme as his old ZAKU Phantom. Haine and his GOUF are assigned to the Minerva shortly after of the Battle of the Gulnahan Ravine, but due tothe intervention of the Freedom Gundam, it was damaged and destroyed shortly afterwards by Stellar Loussier's ZGMF-X88S Gaia Gundam. Later GOUF units are painted in a standardized blue and white color scheme.
