Zlatko Tomcic
Zlatko Tomcic (born 1945) is a Croatian politician. On February 2 2000, he became speaker of Parliament and acting president after his party, the Croatian Peasant Party, won parliamentary elections and the speaker of parliament was serving as the acting president due to the death of President Franjo Tudjman. He gave up the position of acting president on February 18, 2000, when the newly elected president Stipe Mesic took office, but he remained speaker of parliament until December 2003.
