Zoom Airlines

Zoom Airlines

Zoom Airlines is a Canadian charter airline based in Ottawa, Ontario.

History

Zoom Airlines was founded in 2002 to offer charter airline competition in Canada after the collapse of leading charter carrier Canada 3000. Its corporate headquarters and main base is in Ottawa.

In the tradition of former Canadian charter airlines Wardair and Canada 3000, Zoom's main focus so far has been on the popular summer traffic between Canada and the United Kingdom. They have adopted an agressive advertising campaign in British newspapers.

In 2004, Zoom announced that they would add Cardiff and Belfast to their schedule in 2005.

  • Edmonton (Edmonton International Airport)
  • Calgary (Calgary International Airport)
  • Winnipeg (Winnipeg International Airport)

    Their current destinations are:

  • London (London Gatwick Airport)
  • Glasgow (Glasgow International Airport)
  • Manchester (Manchester International Airport)
  • Paris (Charles de Gaulle International Airport)
  • Cardiff (Cardiff International Airport) (beginning May 2005)
  • Belfast (Belfast International Airport) (beginning June 2005)

    Fleet

Zoom's fleet consists entirely of the Boeing 767.
